Efficiency :
In the garments factory, efficiency is the ratio of produced minutes to spent minutes multiplied by 100. The formula to calculate Operator Efficiency, Sewing Line efficiency, Sewing Floor or Unit Efficiency and entire Factory Efficiency are the same.
Factors Affecting Factory Efficiency are given below....
1. Imbalance Sewing line : Lack of proper work allocation line become imbalance & it affect on line & factory efficiency
2. Poor NPT Follow UP : Lack of proper NPT follow up most of the time people & machine become & loss efficiency. By recording & follow up NPT , it can be minimize.
3. Skill wise job selection : Skill wise job selection is very important part. Right people should right place on feeding time.
4. Uses of Guide, Folder & attachment : If we are not using time saving equipment, guide folder , attachment it will take more time to complete the operation. By using folder & attachment we can save our time.
5. Lack of Motivation : If people are not align with company’s goal nothing is possible. So motivation is the most important part.
6. Department Wise KPI Set : Different department have different job responsibilities. For any garment factory the important parameters which need to be given the highest priority is gaining maximum profit, increasing production, productivity and giving expected quality product to customer. Providing quality product to customer is must in order to maintain good relation with the buyer and maintaining good relations with the buyer in order to get long- term business with those buyers. While any garment factory is considered the most important parameter is achieving higher production and higher productivity. Production depends on various departments’ performance.
